- Education system in India
- First of all you select a stream like engineering, medical, architecture, law etc.
- Then you identify and prepare for respective entrance exam. There are different entrance exams for each of the stream
- Based on your scores in entrance and other criteria you get admission through centralized admission process.
- Education system Abroad
- There is single entrance exam which is stream independent like SAT, TOEFL/IELTS
- You prepare and write the entrance exam.
- There is no centralized admission process
- Based on your scores you select the stream and universities where you wish to apply for admission.
- In most of the top universities admission is not only based on scores in entrance but also your extra curriculars carry weightage.
