How We Teach Class 10 Maths

A system built over 25+ years of Class 10 board results, from the first chapter to the final mock test.

    Ahead of the school syllabus

About 70% of the syllabus is done by June and all of it by October, so school lessons become revision.

    Regular classroom teaching

Maths and Science are taught together over three days a week in 2-hour sessions, with two batch timings after school.

    Weekly Maths practice session

MEPS: worksheet-based practice at two levels, supervised by a Maths professor, with one-to-one doubt solving.

    Board-pattern tests

Chapter, periodic and full-portion tests, corrected by your child's own teacher, with printed model answers.

    Daily doubt solving

Classroom students send a photo of any Maths doubt on Telegram and get the solution by 3 pm the same day.

Study volumes with 10 years of board questions

UT's own Maths volumes cover the full syllabus. No extra reference books needed.

    Practice Where the Marks Are

In the CBSE board paper, Algebra and Geometry alone carry 35 of the 80 marks. Our tests and practice sessions give these units the time they deserve. ICSE students follow the same approach with their own board's pattern.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Most students join for all subjects, but students can also join for selected subjects. Our counsellors will help you choose the right option.

Is the weekly Maths practice session (MEPS) charged extra?

No. MEPS is part of the classroom Maths programme and is compulsory for students scoring below 80% in Maths.

    What are the batch timings?

Classes are 2 hours a day after school, with batches at 4:15–6:15 pm or 6:30–8:30 pm. The exact timetable depends on your centre and board.

Do you teach both CBSE and ICSE Maths?

Yes. We teach Class 9 and 10 Maths for both CBSE and ICSE at all six centres, with separate batches for each board.

How will I know how my child is doing in Maths?

After every test you receive a report with your child's marks, the test average and highest score, and a counsellor's analysis. MEPS students' parents also get a weekly performance report.
